Trans Women launch report

Alt

Our Equality Counting project has brought together groups of women as 'communities of interest' to engage in research around an issue of concern to them.  One of the groups involved, Women Thinking Trans Issues, decided to research access to gender reassignment services across health boards.  The result is a report which highlights the differences in services offered and timescales involved for transitioning women in scotland and reveals the sometimes devastating effect the different levels of service provison have on their lives.  The report was launched in the Royal College of Physicians in Edinburgh on 29th July.  Read more...
