UK Govt attempt to derail EU measures to tackle violence against women

The EU Council are working on a Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence. The UK govenment has tabled ammendements which would significantly reduced the remit and efficiency of the convention. Read the draft convention

Film - Irish artist Jesse Jones will be in Edinburgh working on a film project investigating the 'multiple narratives of feminism as a socially transformative movement '. Women are invited to a series of workshops focusing on feminst cinema that will feed into the film. Find out more
